Central Valley Scholarship
The Central Valley California School Nurses Organization (CV-CSNO) offers a Graduate Scholarship Program for school nurses working toward the completion of their credential in School Nursing. Qualifications:
- Possession of a baccalaureate or higher degree from a regionally-accredited college or university
- A valid Registered Nurse License issued by the State of California
- Current member of the California School Nurses Organization - Central Valley Section
- Currently enrolled in a Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC) approved School Nurse Credential Program or higher education learning program ( ie. Masters, Doctoral, and/or NP program).
Submission Requirements:
- Complete application below and submit electronically by the deadline
- Letter of Application (including a brief overview of what drew you into school nursing, unique skills and expertise you bring to this profession).
- Curriculum Vitae/Resume
- Documentation of enrollment in good standing in a school nurse credential program or program of higher learning. Evidence can be letter of recommendation from instructor or copy of university enrollment verification
- Two letters of recommendation (one from immediate supervisor and one from someone knowledgeable about your school nursing work experience) or one additional reference if letter from instructor already in hand (see above).
All requirements must be submitted electronically by October 1, 2021.
